Why CFG 1.0 on Flux: Flux.1 uses guidance embeddings directly inside its diffusion transformer backbone. Traditional classifier-free guidance scaling should stay strictly at 1.0 or 3.5 (via FluxGuidance node). Setting standard CFG > 1.0 will over-sharpen facial details and introduce plastic sheen. T5 VRAM management: Load T5xxl in fp8 on 12GB cards or offload to system memory with --lowvram to prevent cudaMalloc errors.
